“I’ve always loved the feeling of coming across a wildflower meadow — that wonderful sense of colour, freedom and life, with flowers growing wherever they please and butterflies moving through the sky.

Wild Garden was created to capture that feeling. I wanted it to be joyful and uplifting, but also somewhere you could lose yourself for a moment. There are lots of tiny details within the flowers and sky, and I love that the painting reveals something different the longer you spend with it.

After the response to the original painting and so many requests for prints, I decided to bring Wild Garden into my canvas collection. Each hand-embellished edition is personally finished in my studio, so although it begins as a fine art reproduction, the final piece carries my own hand and becomes something beautifully individual.
