Ember Light explores the quiet tension between stillness and heat, where cool atmospheric blues hold space for a glowing seam of warmth moving through the surface of the painting.

Layers of oil and acrylic drift across the canvas like mist over water, creating a sense of depth and calm. Beneath these veils of colour, a soft ember-like glow begins to emerge — subtle yet powerful, suggesting the quiet presence of energy beneath an otherwise tranquil landscape.

Along the lower edge and right side, textured copper leaf catches the light as the viewer moves past the painting. This gentle shimmer introduces a moment of warmth within the cool palette, echoing the glow of embers beneath ash and adding a quiet sense of richness to the piece.

Balancing movement with stillness, Ember Light invites the viewer to pause and reflect on the subtle shifts that occur beneath the surface — a reminder that even the smallest glow can transform the atmosphere around it.
