Fuego

FUEGO is an exploration of intensity — of heat, movement, and the raw energy that lives beneath the surface. Vertical streams of molten reds, incandescent oranges, deep blues and flashes of white collide and cascade, creating a sense of both structure and release.

The layered oil and acrylic build texture and depth, allowing light to catch in unexpected places — at once luminous and shadowed. There is a tension between control and surrender in the marks, as if the canvas holds the memory of flame, rhythm and pulse.

Despite its power, Fuego remains balanced and composed within its square format, framed in a handmade St Ives wooden frame that grounds the work and enhances its presence.

This piece invites the viewer to feel rather than interpret — to stand in front of it and experience warmth, movement, and the quiet strength that emerges from intensity.
